Title: Packaging - What Plastics are Plastisol Safe ?
Post by: CNC Molds N Stuff on Sep 29, 2024, 02:21 PM
If you buy laminated worm bags from a bag vendor that specifically sells bags to plastisol bait resellers you are probably okay, but do you know what plastic that is?  If you package in modern product bait trays they are probably okay too.  Is that plastic going to be suitable for packaging everything?

HOWEVER, you may need to do something custom.  Maybe vacuum form your or custom packaging, or use a non traditional container for some reason.  Will your bait be safe in those containers?

If you have been around a while you may recall way back when rubber worms would melt your plastic tackle box.  They may still melt some other plastics in your tackle box if they come in contact for very long.

Do you know what plastics are plastisol safe for packaging and long duration physical contact?
