MOLDS ARE CUT TO ORDER
LEAD TIMES ARE ESTIMATED AND NEVER GUARANTEED

STOCK DESIGN ORDERS: Currently stock orders (items listed on the website) are shipping in about 1-3 weeks right now.

CUSTOM JOBS: As of today, new custom jobs are starting (not shipping) in 12-16 weeks after the job is paid.  When they ship will depend on speed of customer feedback and approval during the setup process, availability of materials (generally we preorder all materials), and difficulty of the job.  As always every new stock, custom, or semi custom job is done in the order it is paid unless we are forced to wait by outside forces such as customer samples, feedback, etc.

Lead times can change at anytime, and if other jobs pay before you do your lead time will change.

If this is not satisfactory to you I understand.  I would rather you choose not to place your order rather than be unhappy with my lead time.

Some questions I get fairly often regarding lead times.

Can you rush one for me because I have a season coming up?
Every person who has a job done by me is important.  Every one has a reason they would like their job skipped ahead of others.  I'm not going to do it.  By catering to you I am insulting and disrespecting everybody else.

Do you have one of "this mold" in stock?  If you can guarantee I'll get it in (X) amount of time I'll order one.
Probably not.  I make molds to order.  As it says at the top of this thread lead times are never guaranteed.  I don't say this over and over to be a jerk.  I say this so you can know what to expect.  I WILL appreciate your order, and I will do it in the order it was paid, and I try to have a decent schedule for stock and custom designs so I can give a fair estimate of how long it will be before I start on yours.

Can you let me know when you aren't so busy?
I don't think so.  I've had a backlog of work since I started doing this full time.  I started making molds in 2006.  Made a side business of it around 2010, and I have been doing it full time as my main business since the end of 2016.  I have had a backlog of work from people who paid for their jobs almost all of that time, and 100% of the time since I started doing it full time.  If I am not so busy I'll either be out of the business or dead.

Is there any way I can get you to do my job first?
There are two answers to this question.  The short answer and the amusement park answer.

The short answer.  No.
The amusement park answer.  You can pay a million US dollars up front for a super pass to have one of your jobs moved to the front of the line.  Like a group of friends visiting the amusement park each one must have its own super pass.  In the event there is more than one super pass purchased they will be done in the order they are purchased.  Like an amusement park super pass doesn't include the beverages and meals a line jumping super pass doesn't include the price of the mold or shipping.  If you purchased a super pass after others and wish to skip ahead of others you can purchase a super duper pass.  The super duper pass allows you to skip ahead of super pass purchasers, but it is priced at one trillion dollars payable in US gold double eagles at face value.
