Haven't messed with it much myself.  I've powder coated a few jigs and spinnerbaits using the heat and swirl method.  Then I made a little clamping setup to hold them upright so any drip runs down the wire or hook when I bake them.

Heat, swirl, heat, bake.  It's pretty simple, but the last time I did one it came out clumpy.  I live in the desert, but I guess the humidity got to that batch of powder anyway.

I've never used a fluid bed before, but being pretty handy I figured I'd have no problem making one... except for the time.  LOL.  I'm always busy.  Even when I take some time off to go fishing with a friend I feel a little bit guilty about all the work that isn't getting done, so I ordered a fluid bed setup from somebody else.

I guess I'll be learning how to use a fluid bed pretty soon.

This is the setup I bought.  Probably way overkill for me, but...

Looks like I may be the only person participating.  Even if nobody else is intersted I am.  So far I have only made soft plastic baits, but I might be interested in learning about lead casting and powder coating.
